LYNN
MATTHEWS, O.T.
Lynn obtained her B. S. in occupational
therapy from Quinnipiac in 1987, and has been with the Arthritis Center since 1990.
Lynn's experience is unique in that she is a part of both orthopedic and
rheumatologic teams. Common occupational therapy areas are orthopedic and
rehabilitative problems of the upper extremities, including the shoulder, elbow, wrist,
and hand. Techniques and modalities used include conventional physical therapy,
specialized exercise programs, joint protection, splinting, and manual therapy.
Additional areas of expertise unique to Lynn's position include rheumatoid
arthritis, neuropathies, and RSD. |
