Dr. Brian Peck, the Medical Director of the Arthritis Center of Connecticut, is an expert in the fields of
personal injury to the musculoskeletal system, disability, chronic pain, post-traumatic fibromyalgia, spinal
injuries, reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD), and all forms of arthritis, whether post-traumatic, innate, or
acquired. Dr. Peck is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology through the American Board of Internal
Medicine, and in pain management by the American Academy of Pain Management. Dr. Peck is certified in forensic
medicine by the American Board of Forensic Medicine and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Disability
Evaluating Physicians. He is also certified in clinical densitometry for osteoporosis by the International Society
for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD).
With over thirty years of clinical experience, Dr. Peck is an Assistant
Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine, an adjunct professor at the Quinnipiac
University School of Physician Assistants, and Chairman Emeritus of the Medical and Scientific Committee of the
Connecticut Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation. He has twice been the recipient of the Arthritis Foundation's
Achievement Award for his contributions to research and education.
He has organized and chaired numerous
educational meetings and seminars on arthritis and pain management and has presented numerous lectures both
locally and nationally for physicians, physician extenders, and lay groups. He has published numerous educational
articles in professional journals and on the Internet.
Dr. Peck primarily maintains a full time clinical practice,
but has extensive experience in case review, depositions, independent medical examinations, and courtroom
testimony.
