Sandy DiMichele, RT (R)
Sandy graduated from Naugatuck Valley Community College in 1997 with a degree in radiology. She worked as a staff radiologist at Tribury Orthopedics for four years where, besides her regular RT duties, assisted in the training of incoming radiology students. Sandy has also worked at Waterbury Orthopedics and the Waterbury Hospital Department of Emergency Medicine. Sandy has been with the Arthritis Center since 2005. She performs x-rays, bone density studies for osteoporosis, and MRI studies for both Dr. Peck and Dr. Matza. Sandy completed the GE Healthcare training program in Madison, Wisconsin on MRI protocols. She is certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and is licensed in the State of Connecticut. Sandy was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and speaks fluent Spanish.
