Ingrid Kausyla, R.N.

Ingrid Kausyla obtained her associates degree and RN license at the Naugatuck Valley Community College in 2007 and obtained a BSN at Chamberlain University. She began her career in nursing at Yale New Haven Hospital in cardiology and currently works full time in the medical intensive care. Ingrid has a wide variety of experience with many types of patients and medical conditions. She is ACLS certified and practices daily in all areas of patient care including pain management, emergency care, life support, phlebotomy, patient education and IV infection and medications. As an infusion nurse at the Arthritis Center’s Infusion Center Ingrid administers intravenous medications and injections for multiple sclerosis, Crohn’s disease, asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, a variety of other forms of arthritis, and provides patients with education and comfort.
