State of the Art Arthritis Treatments
The Arthritis Center of Connecticut is the first and only facility
totally dedicated to the diagnosis and care of arthritis and related
conditions. The 12,000 square foot facility, conveniently located at
Exit 18 on Interstate 84, is completely self-contained.
With a complete physical therapy department staffed by certified
physical therapists, on site occupational therapy, and orthopedic
consultation, the Arthritis Center is truly a one stop facility for
twenty-first century care of musculo-skeletal problems.
The Arthritis Center has its own, self-contained, Infusion Center for
the administration of various a revolutionary treatments for rheumatoid
arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoporosis, and numerous other
chronic conditions.
The Arthritis Center has a state of the art DEXA scanner, to assess bone
density for osteoporosis. Dr. Brian Peck, the Arthritis Center's medical
director, is certified in clinical densitometry by the ISCD.
Both Dr. Peck, the medical director, and Dr. Matza, the surgical
director, lecture nationally on state of the art topics in their fields.
The radiology suite is hospital grade and capable of producing the
highest resolution musculo-skeletal images available.
Appointments can be made with the Arthritis Center staff without a
specific referral if allowed by your insurance company. Our staff can
